From Tape Recoder to Windows Mobile 5.0 (T-Mobile Dash)

Yes thats what I am thinking when I am seeing my mom listening to the the Qawali by Ghulam Farid Sabri Qawal.

I used to listen this Qawali with my mom and dad back in late 80s  / early 90s on Tape Recorder .

Now after 10 years or so, she is listening this on T-Mobile Dash using Windows Media Player 9.0 and it is stereo audio and yes I installed only 1gb of microSD card!

Sounds like my kidos will be doing something so crazy that I wouldn't think of it at the moment, may be there will be some kind of "Chip" installed in their cells? may be something that can be "fixed" in to their skin and they can have the "Radio Signals" in their ear directly without having an external "gadgets" like we have  . MP3 Player, Cell Phone, etc.

I think it will be done by 2020 , i can bet on it :) yes thats what I think ....Wild and Crazy ....and DOABLE!

PS: Mom requested for a song : Shah-e-Madina by Salim Raza, so I got the video actually from YouTube! and well i am looking for full version coz now thats what she requested.

This is the excerpt from teh RingPakistan.com :

Many calling cards use the internet to illegally terminate calls in Pakistan. The quality is unreliable, low rates are misleading, and they are shutdown when they get discovered leaving customers stranded. Ringpakistan has partnered with Burraq Telecom, a licensed LDI carrier to offer the lowest rates at unbeatable quality. The comparison between RingPakistan and other leading cards is based on the purchase of a $50 card.

Read it twice!

And then let me paste this thing to you :

Asalamwalikum,

Thanks for the "reply" that come exactly after 48 Hours.

Sir, would you please let me know when it will be actually "Solved" ?

As I clearly mentioned several time via email and over the phone that I was "recharging" my account with the RingPakistan.com and I noticed one thing, there is a big "glitch" that need to be solved on RingPakistan.com.

The glitch is ...When I tried to "Recharge" / "Refill" it suddenly kicked me out from the RingPakistan.com and then I am in the block list because "I am asking from RingPakistan.com for Refund". I am very much confused on that matter, that how come the "IT Dept" of yours didn't figure out that big "mistake" on your website?

And last but not least, I am expecting the "Solution" by that time, but unfortunately I am suffering from that big delay of your service.

I would like to say one thing very clearly that RingPakistan.com is superb if someone like to call Pakistan from US, but unfortunately, the Customer Service did try to solve my issue, but they are very very slow in resolving the issue.

Would you please kindly solve that issue ASAP ? I am keep hearing it from the Customer Service dept. that my complain is already forwarded to the IT Dept , alas! no solution yet!

Last nite (of Pacific Standard Time) when I called, the guy who was representing Customer Service's of RingPakistan told me that I can wait till tomorrow and right now it is : Sunday 5:41 am of October 8, 2006 and my problem still PERSIST!?

So tell me what I would think about the "Customer Service" of RingPakistan?  Should I give it A+ or F- ?. I am not here discussing how superb quality of the "RingPakistan.com" calling feature is, it s no doubt, very superb! But I am really pissed on the Customer Services due to the delay in resolving the issue.

Thanks,

Mudassir Azeemi,

San Francisco, CA

Here is the glitch in their system , if u have "spare" account you can try this:

1) Login to your account
2) select the $10 from the drop-down list.
3) Recharge it and then click on the "submit" button.  (it is "the right-side button" underneath the Drop-down list)
4) Boom! there u go! the system will kick u out!

I am their Customer sinsce October 29, 2005. I think thats how they are planning to "celerbrate" my "1 year anniversary" by giving me that kind of pain.

Now tell me the sentence that I took it from their website " The comparison between RingPakistan and other leading cards is based on the purchase of a $50 card" sounds like they are "forcing" you to select the "Default" value from the Drop-down List, instead of changing it and making it lil low price (like I suggested in the above caption steps).

Looks like someone is "not getting profit" and forcing the customer to go for 50 bucks value of their card! Ah! the old-fashioned desi trick to boost the business!

Oh oh by the way the reason they gave me to block my account is ..."I asked them to re-fund the money!" if I asked for "Refund" does that  mean that I don't need their service no more and then just "block" the user?

Refund can be asked for couple of reasons " Because I did mistake and I don't wanna refill for 10 bucks with the Credit Card, may be I wanna use it my Debit Card" and there are couple of REASONS for refund, You  don't "Block" the user! to give them damn pain .

By the way, if u try to register then you won't able to do it!

Second thing that it is not just me! My friend Junaid & Kashif both have the same problem! they are "blocked" because of they asked for "recharge" and the stupid RingPakistan.com website think we are asking for "Refund" but whatever it is , the thing is... The Naseeb's RingPakistan really sucks in the Customer Service!

Dear Reader, if u know any other service that is good in both ways! Customer Service & Voice Quality do let me know I am sick and tired from that stupid RingPakistan.com!

Thanks,

Mudassir Azeemi

Challenges can energize you shared by Jawwad Farid

"The Japanese have always loved fresh fish. But the waters close to Japan have not held many fish for decades. So to feed the Japanese population, fishing boats got bigger and went farther than ever. The farther the fishermen went, the longer it took to bring in the fish. If the return trip took more than a few days, the fish were not fresh. The Japanese did not like the taste. To solve this problem, fishing companies installed freezers on their boats. They would catch the fish and freeze them at sea. Freezers allowed the boats to go farther and stay longer. However, the Japanese could taste the difference between fresh and frozen and they did not like frozen fish. The frozen fish brought lower price.

So fishing companies installed fish tanks. They would catch the fish and stuff them in the tanks, fin to fin. After a little thrashing around, the fish stopped moving. They were tired and dull, but alive.Unfortunately, the Japanese could still taste the difference. Because the fish did not move for days, they lost their fresh-fish taste. The Japanese preferred the lively taste of fresh fish, not sluggish fish. So how did Japanese fishing companies solve this problem? How do they manage to get fresh-tasting fish to Japan?

To keep the fish tasting fresh, Japanese fishing companies still put the fish in the tanks. But now they add a small shark to each tank. The shark eats a few fish, but most of the fish arrive in a very lively state. The fish are challenged.

As soon as you reach your goals, such as finding a wonderful mate, starting a successful company, paying off your debts or whatever, you might lose your passion. You don't need to work so hard so you relax. Like the Japanese fish problem, the best solution is simple. L. Ron Hubbard observed it in the early 1950's. "Man thrives, oddly enough, only in the presence of a challenging environment."

The Benefits of a Challenge: The more intelligent, persistent and competent you are, the more you enjoy a good problem. If your challenges are the correct size, and if you are steadily conquering those challenges, you are happy. You think of your challenges and get energized.  You are excited to try new solutions. You have fun. You are alive!
Recommendations: Instead of avoiding challenges jump into them. Beat the heck out of them. Enjoy the game. If your challenges are too large  or too numerous, do not give up. Failing makes you tired. Instead, reorganize. Find more determination, more knowledge, more help. Don't create success and lie in it. You have resources, skills and abilities to make a difference. Put a shark in your tank and see how far you can really go!

Life's challenges are not supposed to paralyze you, they're supposed to help you discover who you are."
